The wagon offers accommodation and stays for two adults and unfortunately is not suitable for children. It consists of 25 square meters of living space and approximately 40 square meters of outdoor terrace. It is furnished with a sleeping area, living/dining space, kitchen, and toilet/shower. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, hot plates, oven, and coffee machine, along with the necessary kitchen equipment.
The Circus Wagon is located on the outskirts of Marstal, secluded on the hosts' property, on the border between a spruce forest and a wild meadow, where Welsh goats and Gotland sheep roam. It is at a good distance from other residences, not visible from the wagon due to the surrounding trees and bushes. A stay in the Circus Wagon is, therefore, private and undisturbed.
The wagon can be found at Knasterbjergvej 4, 5960 Marstal.
There is a separate parking area for the residents of the Circus Wagon. From the parking area, it's a 100-meter walk to the wagon. The path between the parking area and the wagon is illuminated in the evening. Sensors are placed at both the parking area and the wagon.
Pets may only be brought into the wagon after a special arrangement with the hosts.
There is mobile WiFi in the wagon.
There is an espresso machine in the wagon that will be filled with coffee beans from a local coffee roastery upon arrival.
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and check-out is between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged. Upon arrival, you will either be welcomed by the hosts, or alternatively, the key to the wagon will be available in a key box (the code will be provided before arrival).
Upon arrival, bedding, towels, and dishcloths will be provided.
A heat pump has been installed, and the wagon is comfortable for living year-round.
Charging stations for electric cars are available in Marstal, at the harbor by the ferry, and at the Ærø Hotel. Unfortunately, there are no charging stations at the Circus Wagon.
There is a ferry connection to Ærø from Fynshav (Als), Svendborg, Faaborg, and Rudkøbing (Langeland). It is recommended to book in advance to secure your spot. Bookings can be made by using the bottoms below.
